Dogs of Destiny is a 501c3 community based rescue organization that is dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation, and re-homing of primarily pit bulls and pit mixes. We are dedicated to science based, positive reinforcement training methods. Our certified dog behavior consultant and accredited trainer not only applies these methods for training in home, but also for preparing and training cooperative care for vet visits to ensure all of our dogs are completely comfortable during those experiences. Dogs of Destiny also educates through breed specific historically correct facts, dog training classes and individual training sessions, and youth-based educational material and meetings against dog fighting and animal cruelty. We also provide training workshops as well as community services, such as helping to build fences for families in need, and working to help enrich the lives of dogs in the shelters that we partner with in hopes of increasing their chances of adoption.
We are dedicated to erasing the homeless pet population through the spaying and neutering of all of our rescued animals, and through the education on the importance of spaying and neutering pets. It is one of our goals to be able to offer low cost spay and neuter clinics for pit bulls in our community.
